It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Terry H. Rand at the age of 53 at Health Sciences North surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 3, 2018.
Beloved husband to Joyce Rand (nee Cameron). Loving father of Meagan Holman (Alvin), James Rand (Andree) and Megan Cameron (Aaron). Proud poppa of Hunter, Liam, Serenity and Nolan. Dear brother of Donna Haskin (Nick), Bobby Nichol (Carmella), Ken Lucier, Keith Nichol (Diana) and Kim Lucier (predeceased).
Predeceased by his parents Daisy and Endal Rand, his birth mother Marie Noble and survived by his birth father Terry Nichol. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and co-workers.
A lifetime trucker and an avid Harley Davidson collector, he enjoyed hunting fishing and spending time at camp with family and friends. He really enjoyed “pontooning” and floating around the lake.
Friends and family are welcomed to join us as we celebrate his life, share memories and partake to a “cold one” as he would say on Saturday February 17th, 2018 at the Colonial Hotel (banquet room), 28 Cedar St. in Coniston ON, from 2p.m to 7p.m. As per Terry’s wishes a private Celebration of Life will be held at camp at a later date.
We are so sorry to hear of Terry’s passing. Our deepest condolences to Joyce and family.

Our family chain has lost another precious link. Know you did not go alone a tiny piece of us went up with you on your journey home. You left us with loving memories to hold us till it’s time . In time our day will also come to pass and link by link we will reunite again till our family chain once again is made whole. My sentiment to our family ,my words Terry.
