On Thursday, November 19, 2020, Chandradei “Doreen” Ramjit passed away peacefully in her sleep at her daughter’s home in Hanmer, Ontario. She was 84 years old. Doreen was born in Port Mourant, Guyana in 1935, and moved to Canada in 1979. She was the wife of CN Ramjit (predeceased). Loving mother of Steve Ramjit, Shirley Beharry, Meena Singh, Selina Birbal (predeceased), and Sitara Ramjit (predeceased). Cherished grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and mother-in-law. Doreen was kind-hearted, generous, and loving to all that knew her. We will love you forever.
