It is with deep sadness that the family announces his passing at Maison McCulloch Hospice on Friday, February 2nd, 2018, at the age of 58. Son of the late Louis & Claire (née Bertrand) Rainville. Loving father of Joel (Rose). Cherished grandfather of Joshua. Predeceased by his brother Guy (Jackie). Dear brother of Guy (predeceased) (Jackie), Gilberte Lanctot (Gaston), Huguette Burns (Wayne), Yollande Paquette (late Lionel), Léo (Yvonne), Lise Lambert (Denis), Jeanne Beaulieu (Guy), Aline Grylls (Mike) and Jacques. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Claude loved to spoil his grandson. He was well liked amongst his co-workers and many friends. He was hard headed, independent, a good listener, hard working and could fix anything. Claude was a farmer at heart and loved the homestead family farm and had quite the green thumb that showed every year in his beautiful gardens. He enjoyed playing guitar, sitting by the fire and was a hardcore fisherman. Claude will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Senator Rheal Belisle Cultural Centre, 2777 Main St., Blezard Valley on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m., to join in celebrating his life.
