It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Marjel (Marcel) Quevillon passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the age of 78, under the gentle care of the staff at the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
Beloved husband of Denise for 57 years and loving father of Vincent and Tina (Denis). Cherished Pépère to Cédric, Noella, Cécilia and Marcelo and to many who affectionately called him Pépère. Dear brother to Odette (Richard, predeceased), Alain, Carmel, predeceased (Henriette), Gilles, predeceased (Françoise) and Urjean, predeceased (Ruth). Caring mononcle to 15 nieces and nephews and devoted son of Omer and Simone, predeceased. He loved his in-laws Cécile (Lucien), predeceased, Jean Noël (Bonnie) and had a special affection for his sister-in-law Noella (Claude).
Marjel’s fondest memories are of times spent fishing, hunting, playing cards and dancing with his loved ones, as well as behind the bench at a hockey rink. His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and Denise was the love of his life.
As per Marjel’s wishes, we will celebrate his life with family and friends in the near future. Donations can be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice in Memoriam of Marcel Quevillon.
My condolences to Denise and family. Marjel will not be forgotten, he was like a brother to us. In our hearts he will be. ❤️
