Purcell, Rodney

An angel on earth and an angel in heaven. The family wishes to announce the peaceful passing of Rodney Purcell on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the age of 53 at his residence surrounded by his family and his Grandview family. Rodney's infectious smile and cuddles touched everyone he loved. Rod will be remembered for his spirit and his will to live. Son of Percy Purcell and Colette Creaser (Roland Duhamel). Brother to Karen Purcell Astgen, Michelle Hall (Glenn), Russel Purcell (Linda). Special uncle to Carley, Evan, Shannon, Blake and Olivia. Loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Rodney will also be missed by his Grandview brothers and family. Rodney's family would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all staff at Grandview House for the many years of love, care and support to Rodney as a long-time resident at Grandview. Words cannot express how grateful we are for all staff at Grandiew, there are too many to mention but thank you to all who helped through Rodney's journey. You will always be very special to us. God bless you all. We would also like say thank you to CLGS Management Team for there support and dedication. Thank you to nurse Dawn, nurse Jade and nurse Dustin (Big Duff) for their soothing words and comfort. A celebration of life for Rodney will be held at a later date. Rodney will rest at Civic Memorial Cemetery. Until we all meet again Rodney, we will miss you so much. Love Mom Dad Karen Michelle and Russ ..xo.

  10. Russ, I am very sorry for the loss Rodney. I think I only met him a few times years ago and I do remember him to be a kind soul. Russ, I know you were a good brother to him and you will always have good memories. My deepest condolences also to Linda, your two boys and the rest of your family.
