Prevost, Lyette

In Loving Memory of Lyette Prevost, 50 years, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Health Sciences North with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of Claude Prevost. Loving step mom of Angel (Chris) and Joey. Cherished daughter of Raymond (predeceased) and Rita (Maisonneuve) Rivest. Dear sister of Ronald (Marlene) Rivet. Sadly, missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Lyette was such a proud, happy and caring person. Up every morning by 4 am sometimes earlier, doing her housework and getting everything ready for her day. Everyday she baked something different for her family and friends. While taking breaks she’d have coffee and talk to her brother and friends on Facebook. She couldn’t wait for her hubby to get up, so she could talk and have coffee with him before he went to work. By 11 am she looked foreword to go have coffee and soup with friends at Tim Horton in Azilda. Everyone loved her, she had such a good sense of humour. A very special thank you to all the staff on the 4th floor and the Palliative Care Unit at Health Science North. Also, a very special thank you to Dr. Richard Goluch and Nephrology staff on the 9th floor for taking such good care of Lyette for the past 17 years. As per Lyette’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at the New Life Christian Center, 4032 Regional Rd. 35 Chelmsford at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made directly to the Kidney Foundation.
