Pretty, Rachelle ‘Rachel’

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rachelle “Rachel” Rose Pretty on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Pioneer Manor. Loving mother of Brian Pretty (Judy), Sandra Mailloux (Roch) and Anna Urso (Lizanne Dubreuil). Cherished grandmother of Danielle Pretty, Brianne Pretty, Justin Mailloux and Julien Mailloux. Born in Sturgeon Falls, ON she was the daughter of Alfred Charlebois and Léda Charlebois (née Leblanc) both predeceased. Dearly loved sister of Laurent “Larry” Charlebois (predeceased), Claudette Lavoie (Pierre) (both predeceased), Monique Pretty (Howard), Gilles Charlebois (Francine) and Richard “Rick” Charlebois (Lucy). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to all the nurses, PSW’s, volunteers and support staff at Pioneer Manor for always going above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you to Dr. Maurice St. Martin and Dr. Monique St. Martin for their care and compassion. In keeping with Rachelle’s “Rachel’s” wishes there will be no service or visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held in Sturgeon Falls at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay & Districts, Ontario Lung Association or by cheque to Pioneer Manor - Activity Department.
