It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Laura Poirier (nee Rouleau) at Pioneer Manor on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Lucien Poirier. Beloved mother of Jeannette Pilon (Yvon-predeceased) (friend Ton Plouffe), Lucienne (predeceased) (Claude) Larocque, Arthur (Brigitte), Marcel (Sue), Aline (Marcelin) Poirier, Monique (Jules) Mainville and Gerald (Kim). Dear sister of Fred (predeceased), Paul (predeceased), Marie-Jeanne, Yvonne (predeceased), Pauline, Jeannine, Marcel, Aline, Andre, Emile and Anita (predeceased) as well as many stepsisters and brothers that have since passed. Born on October 27, 1934 in Sudbury, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Rose Rouleau (nee Carriere). She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and her one great great grandchild. A Funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Paroisse St Joseph, 3594 Errington Ave N, Chelmsford followed by a luncheon. Interment at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 4533 Municipal Road 15, Chelmsford at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura’s memory can be made directly to the Northeast Cancer Foundation and would be appreciated.
