(May 18, 1932 - January 14, 2023)

It is with saddened hearts that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on January 14, 2023
at the age of 90 Years.

Daughter of the late Roméo & Diana (Gingras). Predeceased by her loving husband Gabriel in
1978. Dear mother of the late Jean-Yves (Jeannine) and survived by Gilles, Normand (Patricia), Diane
Johnston (Brian), Jacques (Louise) and Noëlla Guy (Michel). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Roger,
Steve (Tia), Michael (Carrie), Adrian (Inez), Neil (Margaret), Gabriel (Kate), Roxanne Wan (Chris), Craig
(Eric), Joey (Samantha), Justin (Jennifer), Luc, Alain (Lynn) and Julie. Equally missed by her 23 great

Germain (Cécile). Survived by brothers Gilles (late Gabrielle), Michel (Claire) and sister Thérèse Rainville
(late Lucien). Anita will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Anita was the most amazing mother, mother-in-law and grandmother to her ever growing family.
She was welcoming and always had an extra chair at the table for unexpected guests. She was a hard
working woman but always found time to spend with her children, family, and friends at their cottage on Lake Nipissing. After she retired from her managerial position at Extendicare Falconbridge she enjoyed travelling with her siblings and her children.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00pm (Noon) on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at La Paroisse Sainte-Anne-Des-Pins Church, 14 Beech St. Sudbury.
