Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side following post-surgery complications at Health Sciences North on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Marilyn Phillips (nee Real). Loving father of Kerri Tessier (Kevin) and Jeff (Kacie). Cherished grandfather of Olivia and Sophia. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Ida Phillips (nee Piekkola). Survived by his Brother Rod (Leslie) and John (Cathy); brother-in-law Fred Real (Patty), Kelly Holmes, late Sherrie Noonan, and late Patti Real; Cousin of Brenda Muscatello (Donnie) and the late Stephen Campbell (Pauline). At Bill’s request, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the wonderful staff at the ICU for their tremendous care, kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill’s memory made directly to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Marilyn, I was so saddened to read that Bill had passed away. He was extremely kind to me and the girls years ago when we were hurting. We will always remember his big heart, his love of a good laugh and his animated storytelling. Our deepest regrets, Madeleine McInnis

Sincerest Condolences to Marilyn, Kerri & Jeff, so very sorry to hear of Bill’s passing, please find comfort in fond memories shared. Jeff (Boomer) worked for me years ago, he was a joy to have as an employee and I often thought he must have acquired his humour from a wonderful man.

Marilyn, Kerri and Jeff (Boomer) and families. My deepest condolences on the passing of a husband, father and grandfather. It has been a few years since I worked with Bill at the school board. Bill was a kind and generous man.
