Perreault, Richard “Rick”

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my big brother Rick. He battled several health issues this year, but I’m happy to say he left us on his own terms. He was one of the most accomplished drummer-musician that this city ever produced. He is survived by his three sons Michael, Justin, Robert and the absolute apple of his eye, his grandson Lucas. He now joins our parents Rolland and Theresa and our brother Mike “Red”. If anyone deserves to rest in peace it is you my brother. Rest well. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will take place at a later date.

  1. Our sincere condolences in the loss of Rick, such a great contributor to the local music scene. He played in bands with 2 of my brothers over the years and we saw him more recently in Port Credit a few years ago. He will be fondly remembered, and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

  4. Rick sure going to miss you it was fun when you, me and Larry would hang out at my garage and go down to Quebec to pick up cars. Later you came to work with me at the CRA, sometimes after work we would meet in shopping mall for coffee and talk about the day we had and all our dreams. You were a great man and a super friend there is a place for you in heaven. PS say hi to Larry.

  6. Very sad to hear of Rick’s passing and I extend my condolences to his friends and family. I am happy to remember that we shared the stage in a couple of band projects in Kirkland Lake, ON years ago. Rick was an organizer, entrepreneur and an all around musician/percussionist. He was a good man and a pleasure to work with. You will be missed my friend.
