After a year long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, it is with heavy hearts that we share the peaceful passing of Claude Joseph Ambroise Pelletier. He passed away surrounded by his loving family at home at the age of 70 years old on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at 1:15am in Garson, ON Born on November 15, 1948 in Cléricy, QC to Irené Pelletier & Béatrice Pelletier(née Rollin)both predeceased Loyally married 43 years to Danlinda Pelletier(née MacDonald) Father to Sam(Samuelle) Pelletier-Pellerin (Richard), Renée Pelletier-Brousseau (Gates) and André Pelletier (Anouck née Filion) He will forever be missed by his 8 loving grandchildren; Jacob, Gage, Noah, Ella, Sophie, Maxx, Téo & Amïa. An eternally caring brother of late Lise Blouin (Ronal)(Doris LeBlanc), Jude Pelletier (Lucie), Jean-Marc Pelletier, Pierrette Dubreuil (Jean-Paul), late Denise Jalbert (Fortunat) (Rachel Gour-Jalbert), Céline Dechamplain (Gaston), Gaëtan Pelletier (Beverly), late Colette Kelly (Terry)(Diane Kelly), Yvon Pelletier (Doris), Francine Lafreniere (Tom), Remi Pelletier (Mijou), Louise MacLean (Late Bill), Suzanne Baxter (Paul), Ronald Pelletier (Wilma), Ginette Harrison (Late Larry), and Jocelyne Pelletier. Brother in law to Charlene Macdonald (Brian), Dorothy Wyman (Mike) and Shawn MacDonald (Karen) and many nieces and nephews. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it and touched everyone’s heart that he came across. The large family moved from Cléricy, QC, to Hearst, On, Dubreuilville, and finally settled down in Sault Ste Marie. A long time mechanic and autobody repairman, he had a passion for vehicles and his family. He ran CP Auto Body in Sault Ste. Marie until Claude and his family moved to Sudbury in 1992. He continued to work at Garson Pipe Contractors until his retirement. He loved spending his free time camping at Dutrisac Cottages in Sturgeon Falls before they closed at the end of 2017. He lived a life of service and love. The glue to his loving family, he will forever be remembered for his hard work, strength, determination, courage, a caring heart and never ending patience. The family would like to send a big thank you to Danielle Drouin, Nurse Practitioner; Dr. Sean Mahoney; Jenna, Corey and Tracy all from Bayshore, Dr. Cano, and Dr. Pierce. The family will receive relatives and friends at Paroisse St-Dominique, 1241 Diane St, Sudbury, on Monday, March 18th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Followed by a mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation pancreaticcancercanada.ca.
