It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murielle Pelland on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 83 . Cherished wife of 66 years to Denis Pelland.
Precious mother of Sue Paquette (Phil), Ron Pelland (Diane Broudreault) and predeceased by her son Robert Pelland. Predeceased by her parents Omer & Aldea Barrette (nee Corriveau ) and her 5 siblings. Beloved Grandmother of Sylvie Paquette (Steve Boissonneault ), Eric Paquette (Natalie Raymond ), Jenny-Lynn Pelland and Jessie Pelland ( Kevin McKay ). Proud Great-Grandmother to Kassy Lewis ( Clayton ), Kailyn Boissonneault, Caleb Legros, Katia Legros, Keegan Fortin, Colton Marois, Hayden Larocque and Parker Larocque. Great Great Grandmother to John Lewis. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother Charlie Barrette ( Simone ), her brother-in-law Isidore Pelland (Gail) and sisters-in-law Paulette Pelland, Lise Pelland and Jeanine Barrette along with her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Murielle loved being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she enjoyed playing board games and cards with them. As per her wishes there will not be a funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held, at a date yet to be determined. For those wishing to donate in her memory a donation may be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.

Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents Omer & Aldea Barrette (née Corriveau) et ses 5 fratries. Grand-mère bien-aimée de Sylvie Paquette (Steve Boissonneault), Eric Paquette (Natalie Raymond), Jenny-Lynn Pelland et Jessie Pelland (Kevin McKay). Fière arrière-grand-mère de Kassy Lewis ( Clayton), Kailyn Boissonneault, Caleb Legros, Katia Legros, Keegan Fortin, Colton Marois, Hayden Larocque et Parker Larocque. Arrière-arrière-grand-mère de John Lewis. Son frère Charlie Barrette (Simone), son beau-frère Isidore Pelland (Gail) et ses belles-sœurs Paulette Pelland, Lise Pelland et Jeanine Barrette ainsi que ses nombreux neveux, nièces et famille élargie se souviendront également d’elle avec affection. Murielle aimait être entourée de ses petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants, elle aimait jouer à des jeux de société et aux cartes avec eux. Selon ses souhaits, il n’y aura pas de service funéraire, mais une célébration de la vie aura lieu, une date qui n’a pas encore été déterminée .
