In Loving Memory of Donald Parks who passed on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Health Sciences North. He was the brother of Cliff and Eugene both predeceased. He is survived by son Larry (wife Denise) residing in the UK and Sharon (predeceased). Survived by his wife of 40 years Jeanne Labine and step-children Richard (Rolande), Madeleine (Richard) and Joanne. Survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will dearly miss him. Don served in the Canadian Armed Forces in Korea and the Middle East. He was a Welder by trade and retired from the I.N.C.O. Smelter. Later in life he took up locksmithing, golf club repair, and wood-working. He will best be remembered as a passionate golfer and an ardent conversationalist. A Celebration of Donald’s Life will be held at a later date this summer. Special thanks to all the staff on Third Floor of York Extendicare for their caring in his last year.
Grandpa, only heard you passed away. I’m sorry I wasnt there to see you. But now your at peace and your in the arms of your daughter (my mum) and your 2 brothers and now you can cause mischief in heaven for your mum and dad.
