With family by her side and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rena Paquette (nee Kasepchuk), 65 years on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Beloved mother of Adam (Stephanie), Eric and Neil. Adored by her two grandchildren Matthew and Alex. Dear sister of Gary (Winnie), Billy (Suzanne), Diane (Brian), Mark, Helen (Bruce) and Roger (predeceased). Born in Val-D’Or, QC she was the daughter of the late Bill and Irene (nee Larocque) Kasepchuk. Rena will be missed by René, as well as by many nieces, nephews and friends. Special niece to Diane & René of Ottawa. Some of the greatest memories came from the times she was able to cook and spend with family, especially her children, grandchildren and fur-babies. Rena will be remembered as a caring, loving and fun person who always welcomed her “other kids”. A Celebration of Rena’s Life will be held at Whitewater Park, 535 Laurier Street, Azilda on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Family and friends are welcome between 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made directly to a charity of your choice.
It’s thanks to my son Justin that I had the pleasure of meeting Rena. Warmest sincerest Sympathies to the kids, family and friends whose lives she touched.

My condolences to the Kasepchuk families . I was saddened to hear of Rena’s passing …. I grew up with Rena in Creighton and was at the house many times !! May all the memories you have carry you through this most difficult time . R.I.P. Rena 🙏🏻
