Robert Palmer passed away peacefully on the morning of December 31st at the age of 94 at HSN. He was a very kind, gentle, and patient man. He was one who always put the needs of others first, and whose laugh would fill a room. Bob was an avid fisherman, craftsman, and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He was a loyal blue jays fan and for the past 21 years always looked forward to his annual game with his granddaughters. Bob was a loving husband to Margaret for 64 years, caring father to Kim and son-in-law Tom, proud grandfather to Katie (husband John) and Jen. He was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first great grandson due in June. Survived by his brother Austin Palmer and sister Donna Anderson (husband Ron). Although he is no longer with us, his zest for life and words of wisdom will never be forgotten. We love you. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mindemoya Hospital.

Mrs. Palmer, Kim & Family, we are devastated to hear of Mr. Palmer’s passing. He was a beautiful man who we truly enjoyed seeing. Always smiling and happy, even when we sent him home with the wrong order. He had the greatest chuckle as he tried to describe a box of pink cake pops he’d received instead of cookies. If there is anything we can do to help through this sad time, please let us know. You’re in our thoughts and he will be missed.
