In loving memory of Frank Orford, 87 years, who passed away peacefully at Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Evelyn Orford (Lee). A true islander at heart, Frank was born in Mills Township, Manitoulin District and was raised in Ice Lake. He was the son of the late William and Elsie (Baker) Orford. Survived by his sisters Margaret Rumley, Jean Clarke, Irene (Bill) Dowhan. Predeceased by his brothers Robert, George, Joe, Andy, brothers-in-law Dave Rumley, Ivan Clarke and sister-in-law Pauline Orford. Also left to mourn are his extended family, especially his sisters-in-law Lorna Orford, Anne Hammond (Murray), Barbara Lee (Elwood predeceased), Bea Lee (Jim predeceased). He was a cherished uncle who will be truly missed by Roger Hammond (Cathy), Brittany Hammond (David Cundari), Jenna Hammond (Mathieu Beaudry) and his great-great nieces Sofia and Olivia, as well as Roy Lee, Cynthia Lee, Dennis Lee, Tammy Godfrey (Lee) and families. Frank’s memory will live on with all who knew and loved him. He retired from C.P. Railway in 1990 after 39 years of dedicated service. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and a graveside service will take place at the Burpee Mills Cemetery on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
