In Loving Memory of Dorothea Ochssner, 92 years who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Born in Troppau, Germany on October 14, 1924 she was the beloved mother of Gary Schnase of Sudbury, ON, Jim Schnase of Princeton, BC, Patricia Taylor of Merritt, BC and Kathy Mortley of Zurich, Switzerland. Cherished grandmother of Michael Schnase, Steven Schnase, Jodi Merritt, Brendan Taylor, Aaron Taylor and great - grandmother of Ava, Violet and Harlow Schnase. In keeping with Dorothea’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
My condolences to the family. I knew Dorle from approx. 2003 to 2015 and connected her with my grandmother which was also from the Sudetenland and also born in 1924. Just seven weeks after Dorle my grandmother passed away too and I am sure the two ladies are now together in their beloved Sudetenland again …
