In loving memory of David Norrad who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday August 8, 2015, at the age of 62. Son of Clarence “Peter” Eldon Norrad (predeceased) and Lois Althea Norrad (nee Munn). Beloved step son of Roger McNichol. Survived by his wife (the love of his life), Adele Cecile Norrad (nee Marchioni). Loving father of Taffy St.Pierre (Mike), Carrie Lauzon (Eric), Amy Laberge (Chris). Cherished and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Cory, Preston, Ethan, Landon, Mackenzie, Claire and Hank. Dear brother of Loretta Peacock (Wilson), Linda Hefferman, Vance Norrad, Eldon Norrad (predeceased), Betty Riviere ( John predeceased), Janet Fortunato (Sergio), Margo Collin (Morris) and Mark Norrad (predeceased). Deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family also wishes to thank the staff of Maison Vale Hospice for their kindness, excellent care, compassion and thoughtfulness. A special thanks to his nurse Joanne, Dr. Cano, Dr. Pearce and Dr. Singh & his best friends, Guy Farr and George Oakes. David was a kind hearted loving man, whose focus in life was his family. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening and cooking. The community of Cartier and Family will deeply miss his annual Fish Fry, a cherished tradition of many years. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St- François- Xavier Church, Cartier on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

My heart is filled with so much sadness in losing one of the best people that had the pleasure to call my Uncle. He always made me laugh. GOD has reclaimed one of his angels. Was so saddened to hear of David passing. I won’t be able to attend his Funeral Mass as I am in B.C. and will be on my way back home at the time. I am so sorry for your loss he was one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in my life time. His family was so welcoming and so fun to be around he will surely be missed.
