Nancy Fournier Carter 1950-2021

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Nancy Fournier Carter (Cronin).

She was predeceased by her mother Velma and father John Cronin. She is survived by her loving husband Victor, sister- in- law Nicole Piche (husband Larry predeceased), daughter Shanan (Al), sons Gerry (Josee) and Adam Carter. She will be greatly missed by her sister Judy (Vikki), brothers David (Debi), Michael (Joseph) and Dan (Patricia). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Zoey Fournier, Monica Fournier, Mathieu Perras, Miguel Perras, Alexi Perras and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Nancy loved her home on Roger Street and was a main fixture on her front porch where she socialized with neighbours, friends and family.

In her youth she was an outstanding athlete, playing all team sports at Nickel District Collegiate and had several high jump records to her name. Later in life she played club volleyball and played in the city softball league as a pitcher. Her two goals in life were to be a good wife to her husband and a good mother to her children. Her honesty and caring nature will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Her family would like to thank the ICU Staff on 3rd floor Cardiac Unit at HSN. They were very caring for Nancy and her family and went above and beyond to ease our pain.

A Celebration of Life will be held sometime in the spring.

Donations can be made directly to the Kidney Foundation.
