It’s with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerald Wilfred Murphy on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Extendicare Falconbridge at the age of 90. Gerald is now with the love of his life his late wife Sally Murphy (née Sweezy). Loving father of Gary (Pauline) and Alan (Theresa). Beloved grandfather of Ben and Steven (Christine), much loved like grandchildren Kyle, Kody (Kaelynn) and Kaitlyn. Sadly, missed by his siblings Mary, Doug (Margret), Paul (Maria) and Dave (Collen). Dad was a mechanic and handyman who could fix or repair just about anything. He loved ice fishing trips with friends, toasting sandwiches and making tea over an open fire. The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for the care and compassion they provided to our father. As per his request there will be no visitation or service.
