  3. Dear Yvonne, Luc, Guy and Roxanne, Nicolas and Joel,
We were so saddened to pick up the morning paper and see the excellent photo of Roland accompanied by his Obituary. Although we haven’t kept in touch since Roland retired, we have thought of you both often and reminisced about good times in younger days, often as your guests.
We echo most of the sentiments posted herein by Linda Levesque regarding the Memo Team. Roland and Elwood were proud colleagues for most of their medical careers as part of the Memorial Hospital Anaesthesia Team. Yvonne, we value your friendship and share in your sorrow as you grieve the loss of your dear husband, father, and grandfather, Roland Mongeon, MD, FRCP(C)
    With our heartfelt sympathy,
    Elwood and Dale Dunn

  4. Dear Yvonne and family
We would like to offer our condolences to you and your family on your loss. I worked with Rolly for many years as an OR and Recovery Room Nurse at Memorial Hospital. The OR/Recovery Room staff i worked with became my family as did the doctors and anaesthetists that worked there. There are so many cherished memories with Rolly from there, the staff pot lucks, the smiles, the jokes and laughter, the comraderie, the teamwork, the respect he gave us, the luscious fudge that Yvonne faithfully made every Christmas for all the staff and Rolly faithfully delivered it. All the staff so looked forward to it and cherished every bite. Rolly always treated all with respect and always with a smile. He will be sadly missed by the “old Memo Gang”. Rest in peace Rolly on behalf your many old friends at Memo.
