In Loving Memory of Margaret Mitchell (nee Hunt), 97 years who passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 at Pioneer Manor with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Albert Ken Mitchell (predeceased 1994). Loving mother of Kevin, Brian, Lynn (Barb-predeceased), Wayne (predeceased) (Zona) and Sandra (Wes Kreko). Special grandmother of Darcy and great grandmother of Hailey. Cherished and missed by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Margaret immigrated to Canada in 1954 and worked at the Sudbury Star for many years. She enjoyed spending her summers as a resident in Providence Bay on Manitoulin Island. At Margaret's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation and a private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Please accept our family’s condolences.Your mother was such a good friend to my grandmother Angie Charbonneau. I remember your mother fondly at my Nana’s 90th. While Nana was going through dementia your mother held her hand and talked to her about the old days and helped her ground herself in the familiar. She was a great lady.
