McORMOND, Marion A.

It is with a peaceful and sad heart that the family of Marion A. (nee Graham) McOrmond say their final goodbye.  She had a 25 year struggle with Dementia that was handled with strength, determination as well as laughter and tears.  Beloved wife of 70 years to Walter C. McOrmond (predeased). They are survived by children David A. McOrmond, Sandra (Gerry) Strong, Nancy (Peter Alan) Mourot. Cherished grandmother of 5 loving grandsons with two beloved granddaughters; Ian (Morgan), Jeremy, Peter (Catherine), Dan, Kade as well as four very loved great grandchildren; Xavier, Gwenyth, Ryker, and Starling. Survived by brothers and sisters in Law; Len McOrmond, Charles McOrmond, Bill (Hulda) Bulmer, Muriel (McOrmond) Ross and Alice (Rochette) Graham. Predeceased by parents Merle and Louis Graham, brother Jack Graham, Ed (Mina) McOrmond, Ken (June) McOrmond, Mildred (McOrmond) Bulmer, Lillian (McOrmond) Davidson, Robert (Patricia) McOrmond. She will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Marion was a seamstress by trade whose focus in life was looking after the home and taking care of her family. She volunteered her time at the St. Joseph General Hospital, Sudbury and was one of the founding members for the Sudbury Community Living. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services. Donations in Marion’s memory can be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Society or the MS Society if you wish.

    Our hearts go out to you and your families on the passing of Your Mom. She will be missed but never forgotten. May the memories give you peace.
    There are so many memories made with our combined families that they will keep us going for our lifetimes. It is a sad time to be sure but Aunt Marion is now with Uncle Walter where they will both be at peace.
