Passed away peacefully at Pioneer Manor on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the age of 90.
Born in Val Caron on December 26, 1932, she was the daughter of Frank and Antonia, both predeceased. Irene was also predeceased by her husband Joseph. Loving mother of Edward, predeceased, Robert, James (Lise), Thomas and Ken (Elizabeth). Dear grandma of Samantha (Theo), Kandace (Patrick), Megan, Patrick, Conner, Sean and great grandma to Emmett. Beloved sister to Martha (Richard, predeceased). Doting aunt to Peter (Wendy). Irene will be missed by many extended family members.
At Irene’s request, there will be no services or visitation.
The family wishes to give many thanks to all the staff at Pioneer Manor.
My condolences and prayers to Irene’s family. She was a very good friend of my mother. She baked my wedding cake when I got married and helped with the food. I am sure she will meet my mother in heaven. Hugs to her family.
