(April 11, 1948 – December 25, 2020)
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Keith Elwood McDougall on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury. Keith was predeceased by his wife Gloria of London, ON. Dear son of the late Gordon and Vivian (Prescott) McDougall, as well as predeceased by his siblings Wendy Schroeder, Lyle, Rodney, and Barry. He is survived by his daughters Colleen, Lisa, and by his sister Linda Garbutt (husband Malcolm predeceased) and by brothers Erwin (wife Sandra), Allan, Daniel (wife Debbie) and by his brother-in- law Kent Schroeder. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Keith was a dedicated and well-respected volunteer at Rockhaven, Sudbury. His mentoring and constant support of their clients has been recognized several times as he was the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award on more than one occasion. There will be a brief graveside service held prior to his interment. The family would especially like to thank the staff of the Maison McCulloch hospice for their tender and loving care provided to him in his last weeks. Also, special thanks to Keith’s friends Ray Poitras and Perry Fretz for their support and friendship towards him. Donations in Keith’s memory may be made directly to Rockhaven.
it is with great sadness that we hear about magoo… we always chatted about hockey and good AA.. He would tease me and Laurie about taking her from me… sadly missed from the program may he be in God’s care… till we meet again .. Gerry Portelance
Keith was a special friend,
in The Program. Always teasing for sure, and sharing his candies, and his good philosophies on Life. I’ll always remember him, with a smile.
Love Laurie xo
