McAnulty, Doreen Elsie (nee Ware)

In loving memory of Doreen Elsie McAnulty (nee Ware), 87 years, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at HSN surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Michael McAnulty (predeceased 1991). Loving mother of Ian (wife Carol), Christine McLellan (husband Alex predeceased), Colin (wife Michelle), Catherine Stewart (husband Frank) and Michael (wife Kerri). Cherished grandmother of Charlene (Mark), Shawna (Marc), Derek (Alexis), Jessica (Sithisone), Kelsey (Richard), Steven (Laura), Corinne, Brandon (Rachel), Sarah (Curtis), Serena, Kaitlyn, Keegan and great-grandmother of 9. Doreen was born June 20, 1932 in England, the daughter of Walter and Elsie (nee Prescott) Ware, both predeceased. Sister of Mary (predeceased), Joan (predeceased), Ronald, Sylvia, Peter, William, Michael, Phillip and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, England and Australia. Doreen was a long-time resident of Levack. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially enjoyed her time spent at her camp on the West Arm. Here she could be found relaxing in the gazebo or feeding the birds and “chippies”. The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Meadowbrook Retirement Home, where Doreen had been a resident since 2016. In addition, they would like to thank the Doctors and nurses on the 8th floor (north) at HSN for their excellent care and compassion during this difficult time. As per Doreen’s wishes there will be no service or visitation.
