Martin, Yolande

It is with great sadness that the family of Yolande Martin (nee Cote) announces her passing on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the age of 69. Born in Lac Baker, New Brunswick in 1950 to her parents Albenie and Irene (nee Levesque) Cote both predeceased.  She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Bert Martin. She was the beloved mother of Marlene (Gilles) and Jamie (Joanne). Proud and loving grandmother of Matthieu Miron (Tiffany), Isabelle Martin and Jillian Martin. She was also a very caring and loving great grandmother to Abigail and Easton Miron. Dear sister of Bert Cote (Francoise) and Linda Cyr (Jacques). Predeceased by her sister Guilda Boudreau (Roger predeceased). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Also leaving behind so many caring friends. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff in the Dialysis Unit at HSN for being so kind and helpful in particular Dr. Nistico as well, the family would like to thank the staff at HSN on the Cardiology Floor and ICU for being so warm and caring during her last few days. A beautiful and loving wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother, she was. Her suffering is now over, she can now rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Paroisse Ste-Marguerite d'Youville, 4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Therese. A luncheon will follow.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que la famille de Yolande Martin (née Cote) annonce son décès le vendredi 1er novembre 2019 à l'âge de 69 ans. Née à Lac Baker, au Nouveau-Brunswick en 1950, de ses parents Albenie et Irene (née Levesque). Côté les deux ont été prédécédés. Elle laisse derrière elle son mari aimant et dévoué depuis 52 ans, Bert Martin. Mère bien-aimée de Marlene (Gilles) et Jamie (Joanne). Grand-mère fière et aimante de Matthieu Miron (Tiffany), Isabelle Martin et Jillian Martin. Elle était également une arrière-grand-mère très attentionnée et aimante envers Abigail et Easton Miron. Chère soeur de Bert Cote (Françoise) et Linda Cyr (Jacques). Prédécédée par sa soeur Guilda Boudreau (Roger prédécédée). Elle manquera beaucoup à plusieurs nièces et neveux. Laissant aussi derrière tant d’amis attentionnés. La famille souhaite remercier les infirmières et le personnel de l'unité de dialyse de HSN pour leur gentillesse et leur aide, en particulier le Dr Nistico. La famille souhaite également remercier le personnel de HSN au service de cardiologie et de l'USI d'être si chaleureux et prendre soin au cours de ses derniers jours. Une femme belle et aimante, maman, grand-mère et arrière-grand-mère, elle l’était. Sa souffrance est maintenant terminée, elle peut maintenant reposer en paix. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons peuvent être faits à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et seraient appréciés par la famille. Une messe de funérailles aura lieu le samedi 9 novembre 2019 à 10h00 à la Paroisse Ste-Marguerite d'Youville, 4290, ancienne route 69, Val Thérèse. Un déjeuner suivra.
