Martin, Glenn

The family announces with great sorrow his passing on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the age of 57 years. He had an unimpeachable grit that carried him through the lows of life until he found peace. Beloved husband of Vivienne (Dunks).  Son of Rita Martin (Grimard) and the late Aime Martin.  Loving father of Desiree Lefebvre (Sylvain) and Neill Martin.  Cherished grandpa of Martine and Jasmine.  Dearly loved brother of Dennica Parent (Claude), Elaina Martin (partner, Cara) and Lianna Duquette (Doug).  Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank his amazing nurse Doris Sauvé and all the staff at the Northeast Cancer Centre for their compassion and care. Glenn was a skilled machinist who took great pride in his work and in that of everyone who worked alongside him. Blessed with an appreciation and love of the outdoors, he could be found fishing, hunting, camping and snowmobiling. He had many hobbies which included making stain-glass art.  A proud member of the Classic Cruisers, who enjoyed driving his 1967 Barracuda. He was a dedicated family man, who loved spending quality time with his granddaughters, family and especially with his best friend, his wife.  His smile revealed his loving heart, and he cared for all those who crossed his path. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glenn’s memory directly to the Northern Cancer Foundation.
