We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Dave at Health Sciences North at the age of 76.
Dave is survived by his wife Vicki, daughter Naomi & her husband Bruce, son Christopher & his son Hudson, son David & his sons Phoenix, Legend & Nova. Loved by Nowella & Christine, mother Rose (predeceased Vernon), brother Stephen (Betty Jane), sister Janice (Ron), sister Debbie (Russ), brother Graham (Laurie) as well as several nieces, nephews, and Garfield the cat.
Dave also has many close friends that both he and his wife share wonderful memories with. Many of these friends are like family to the Marks clan, one of which is Arne Maki.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the amazing care and compassion for Dave on 4North at Health Sciences North.
Dave had vast knowledge and passion for war planes and history. He adored his natural wild flower habitat that he and his family tended to on their Garson property.
I was shocked to find out about David’s passing. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

I am deeply saddened by Dave’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Dave for several years at Cambrian College. He was such a kind and gentle soul.
