Marion, Jeannine

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jeannine (Marois) Marion at age 77, after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer, on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Maison McCulloch Hospice. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Bergeron) Marois. Loving mother to Cathy Modesto (Luciano) and Sherry Houle (Jason). Special Grammy to Francesco, Nicolas, Gabriella and Julia. Cherished sister of Rita Houle (predeceased), Lorraine Marois, Shirley Trevisiol and Bernie Marois (predeceased). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Jeannine loved baking and cooking amazing meals and treats for her family and friends. She adored spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren.  Some of her favorite memories come from long telephone conversations with friends and family. The family is grateful for the caring support of many cousins and friends during her illness. Special thanks to Dr. P. Cano, Dr. R. Singh, Dr. C. Walton and Dr. L. Tenhunen. Over the past nine months she received exceptional care from many healthcare professionals from HSN, Bayshore and Maison McCulloch Hospice. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
