The family announces with profound sorrow her sudden death on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Sudbury at the age of 60 years. Beloved daughter of Bill and Elda (née Bourque) Spooner. Dear sister of Andy (predeceased), Larry (Ginette), Denis (Marcia) and Kelly (Robert). She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Hervey. Loving mother of Alain (Natalie Beaudry) and Daniel (Natalie Larocque). Precious grandmother to five grandchildren, Kassandra, Janelle, Andrew, Josée and Patrick all whom she loved very much. Katherine was a loving wife and mother who placed the well-being of others before her own. Her love for animals, especially dogs, will never be forgotten. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, 26 Kathleen Street, Sudbury, on Friday, March 2 at 10:30 a.m. The Mallette Family will welcome friends and family after 10:00 a.m. at the Church.

Heart felt condolences to Harvey, Alain and Daniel and all of Kathys family. I have many fond memories of working with her over the years, we had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. We spent a lot of time talking about our families, they were her whole world. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered , rest in peace Kathy.
