Macumber, Shelley

January 5, 1968 - January 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved sister Shelley on Saturday, January 9, 2021.  She loved life, loved selflessly, and brought sunshine to whomever encountered. She loved to share her gifts with others. Her sense of humour and love for her family was second to none. She struggled greatly through life but always managed to make everyone else smile, so their day was a little brighter, no matter the suffering that she had to endure in her short life. She could light up a room with her laughter and smile. Mother of Charlie Macumber. She will be greatly missed by her sister Denise Simonds (Brad), brothers Robert Macumber (Amanda), Eric Switzer (Sylvie) and Leanne Macumber. She will be sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, many nephews and nieces as well as the many lives she touched along the way. Predeceased by her parents, Arlene Pretz and Robert Macumber (Sr). Grandparents, Leonard Pretz and Marie Pretz. Uncle Jean-Paul Pretz, Aunts Charlene Lewis and Patricia Price. Forever in our hearts and never forgotten. We will miss you and love you always.

  3. I am so sorry. Sister love is incredible. They can make you laugh and cry; they can frustrate and tease you relentlessly; they love you like no body else. My heart is with all of you; many losses can make for very heavy hearts. Sending everyone of you peace and strength to see you through this time.
