Macdonald, Deborah

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Deborah Macdonald on August 18, 2020 whose life was cut far too short, at the age of 56. Mourning the loss of the foundation of their family is her beloved husband Pete, children Carly, Brooke, Keegan, Rochelle, daughter in law Renée, son in law Ryan, granddaughter Julianna, brothers Robert and Steven, sister in law Christine, and her beloved Great Dane, Gauge. Deborah was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Macdonald, and father, John Macdonald. Deborah was an angel on earth, who touched the lives of so many and whose loss will be felt greatly by everyone who knew her. She was full of wisdom, support, understanding and love and her legacy will live on through those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Deborah spent the last few months of her life spending lots of quality time with her family, tending to her vegetable garden, helping Pete with home renovations, and perfecting her sourdough bread recipe. Having her as a wife, a mother, a sister, and a friend has truly been a blessing. Deborah’s family will be celebrating her life and their time together with an intimate family gathering on her birthday. We are incredibly grateful for all the love and support we have received at this time and send our love to everyone who is affected by her loss. Donations to Sudbury Shared Harvest (sudburysharedharvest.ca) are encouraged in lieu of flowers.
