Cherished, best friend Pete passed away August 18,2022, at the age of 81, after a lengthy battle with cancer with his wife Anne by his side. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. S and staff of Maison McCulloch Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice https://maisonsudburyhospice.org/ or a charity of choice.
Still remember our first conversation, where even though he said it with a wry smile and glint in his eyes, he corrected my calling him Mr. Long, saying that was his father, so I should call him Pete instead. So, Pete it was from then onward in the numerous conversations, meetings, social events, and general laughs we shared too. 🙂
Pete was a great guy and I really am thankful and glad to have gotten to know him from April 2007 onward.
Rest in peace, Pete.
My Sincerest Condolences to Anne and the rest of their family and close friends.
