Lindquist, Caroline (1963-2020)

On March 19, 2020, this world said goodbye to a kind, sensitive and generous soul as Caroline slipped into the waiting arms of her Mom Sylvia, Dad Pentti and brother Randy who have already passed before her. She leaves a saddened family to grieve her: husband and soulmate Donald Berthiaume, brother Rick, and sisters Joanne (Wit Lysakowski), Christine, Karen and Nancy (Ed Jessop). Missing her are her niece Renée and nephew Clayton. Caroline had a special place in her heart for her step grandchildren Danick, Patrick, Maxx and Rock. She loved furry critters, and her Toby awaits her over the rainbow bridge. Caroline was a person of strong faith who faced her challenges with courage and humility and lived a life of great charity. Her faith translated into action as she was always touched by others’ hardships. She sought to help in whatever way she could, be it from fundraising to provide education for less fortunate in India, to supporting those closer to home and in the neighbourhood. She didn’t shy away from enlisting help from family and friends to help her do so! She was especially mindful of parents, siblings and relatives, in particular aunt Denise. Selfless kindness is indeed her legacy. She will visit us in all those places where she left her heart print. Your expressions of affection and condolences are appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be equally appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

  2. To Don and Caroline’s family,
Please accept my sincere condolences as you grieve Caroline’s death. I had the pleasure of working with Caroline at Contact North in the late 90s where her work ethic, precision and excellent language skills in French and English were so appreciated. We reconnected over the last few years and enjoyed pleasant chats over coffee. I am grateful that her faith and her strong connections to family eased her wnd of life journey.
    Sincerely,
    Jennifer Cawley Caruso

  12. Caroline, ce n’est qu’une année que j’ai travaillé avec toi à Windsor. Que ton esprit continue à communier avec les nôtres qui te rejoindront un jour.
And to all who knew her, we can remain in communion of spirit, since we will be together not only one day, but still now. Donald, may life continue to bless you and all those you hold dear to your heart.
