  1. I am so sorry to hear of René’s passing. He was a long time neighbour and a very good one at that, letting me use his backyard pool on hot summer days. My husband and I enjoyed many chats with him; he always seemed to have a fishing story to tell. May you rest in peace, René.

  2. So many memories of when you lived with us in Calgary. Your bird Blue who you doted on is one. You were a good man with an infectious smile! With all you Lemieux boys up there in heaven there’s probably one heck of a poker game going on! RIP, you leave a hole in the hearts of many.

  3. René, the friendly giant with a great big heart. Your constant smile and quiet demeanour will be missed. Thanks for being such a positive human being and for making others feel good. To this day, I still remember you and Mike preparing the best fish fries and making sure there was enough food for everybody! See you in heaven one day!
