Lehocký, Lubomir

In loving memory of Lubomir Lehocký, 78 years, who passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Health Sciences North, with family by his side. Beloved husband of Rachelle Lehocký (nee Paradis). Loving father of Jano (Jenna) and Niko (Klaryza). Cherished grandfather of Aryz, Daisy, Felix and Linden. Born on July 11th, 1942 in Bratislava, Slovakia, he was the son of the late Stephan and Anna Lehocký. Left to mourn are his siblings, Milan, Slavo (predeceased) and Anna. Growing up Lubomir developed a reverence for nature. He enjoyed mountain climbing, hiking, camping, and extended canoe trips. He was known and respected as an avid gardener. He managed two gardens, one at home and another on Lake Kagawong on Manitoulin Island where he spent many happy days working the land. He worked for an International Nickel Company for 30 years, retiring in 2001 as a Sr. Process Analyst. In keeping with Lubomir’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation.
