Leduc, William “Bill”

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of “Bill” William Roger Leduc with family by his side on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury due to complications caused by a massive stroke. Bill is predeceased by his parents Albert & Isabelle Leduc (nee Charbonneau). He is survived by his two cherished daughters Danielle of London and Dominique of Key West, Florida. Bill leaves behind his loving sisters Susan (Dave) Colasimone and Lynn Adams both of Capreol and Lorie (Brad) Kennedy of Bracebridge. Sadly missed by his beloved companion Joanne Baker of Barrie. He will be sorely missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and many treasured friends. Rest in peace our dear loving father, brother, uncle and best friend. Bill was the most generous, compassionate, intelligent, sensitive man. He was a self-taught musician and loved all genres of music; especially folk, blues and rock. He spent hours listening and learning about his heroes Bach, Beethoven and Van Gogh. Bill was an artist and an avid reader. He loved the English language and was a word wiz. He loved the game of scrabble and musical trivial pursuit. Bill lived to swim and loved camping. He was a true naturalist. He attested his greatest life accomplishment, the moment his two beautiful daughters were born! Bill was so proud of how well their lives had evolved, knowing they were happy and secure! His "Little Girls" were his pride and joy! Until We Meet again! A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer around Bill’s birthday in June, family and friends will be notified. Keep on strumming Bill!!

  3. Bill was a special guy that always made those around him feel even more special. Such a talented individual, with such a love for life. He lived that saying – Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. So thankful for having known him, his CDs are now even more a treasure.

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. Although Bill had his ups and down the last couple of years there was a lot that brought him joy. Going out New Years Eve had him laughing and dancing like a young man, and swimming in “his” river brought him so much pleasure and kept him physically fit. Bill might be resting but not before he gave you beautiful memories💕🎶🎶🎶🎶
