Lebiedz, Mario

A Private Celebration of Life will be held for Mario on Saturday, July 16, 2022, in Hanmer, by invitation only due to hall size.

It is with great sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Mario Feliks Jozef Lebiedz, Friday, December 3, 2021. He was the devoted son of Jozef (predeceased 1977) and Anna (nee Fabbricatore, predeceased 1994). He was a wonderful husband and soulmate to his loving wife Monica, for 31 years, who cared for him with never-ending devotion and kindness. He was big brother to Adele of London, and Rose (husband Brent), of Sudbury. He was special “Unkie” to Sarah (husband Brad), and Jordan (fiancée Sara), both of Sudbury.

Mario was also a loving and caring “Dad” to Randy Coddington (daughter-in-law Darlene) of Woodstock, Heather Soares of London and Kristine Coddington (partner Joe) of Stratford and 15 grandchildren, Dustine, David, Brendon, Dante, Mathew, Micheala, Danielle, Amber, Jazlyn, Ethan, Jessica, Mark, Talon, Quade and Iyla.

Mario was a loving brother-in-law to Fred and Ann Pedley of St. Marys, Lucienne Murray (partner Ron McMullen) of Stratford, Anna Hnatyshen of Stratford. Mario was also a treasured and deeply loved son-in-law of Joanna Pedley (predeceased) of St. Marys.  He will always be in their hearts and memories and will be deeply missed by everyone. Mario will also be missed by many cousins and friends.

Mario always had a zest for life, and would best be known for his sense of humour. His quick wit always had him ready with a funny retort. He had a passion for vehicles, both new and old, and took a great sense of pride in driving and repairing them. Mario had a love for music, and spent time in a band in his younger years. He was also a great source of knowledge when it came to family history.

Mario was a loyal friend to all, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He held a special love for animals, most recently his best friend forever, Reno, who are now reunited in Heaven.

We will always cherish our special memories of Mario, and can all say “We wanted more”.  You will always be in our hearts and thoughts.

Love you!
