In Loving Memory of Elaine Lavoie, 76 years who passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 10, 2020. Beloved wife of 36 years to Guy Lavoie. Loving mother of Lisa Smethurst (Tim Beasley), Deb Genesse (Yves), Ken Smethurst (Heather) and Gord Smethurst (predeceased). Cherished grandmother of Jason Genesse, Josh & Jenna Beasley, Chrissy and Cory Smethurst. Born in Sudbury, ON she was the daughter of the late Ken and Blanche Ransberry. A dedicated and hard worker, Elaine spent many years working in the Housekeeping Department at the Sudbury Memorial Hospital before her retirement. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or service.
