It is with extreme sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Timothy “Tim” Lapointe, 51 years, in the early morning of Saturday, September 9, 2017. Tim will be terribly missed by his mother, Darlene Lapointe and father Raymond Lapointe (predeceased). Loving brother of Jennifer Lapointe (Dennis Richer). Cherished uncle of Denim Richer. Predeceased by his grandparents Delphis and Mary Jane Lapointe, Merle and Pat Ruddy. Sadly missed by his good friend Joel Tennier, his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and of course his feline friend Cally and family dog Dakota. He was a kind and loving man with a huge heart, who loved his family to pieces, especially his # 1 fan, best friend and only nephew Denim. They were inseparable and shared a very close bond. If there was anything Denim wanted and Tim could make it happen… he would. They shared their love of Rock n’ Roll and favourite band AC/DC. They watched countless movies, played XBOX and ate tons of pizza. Denim was truly a gift from God in Tim’s eyes. As per Tim’s wishes, there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pet Save, Sudbury would be greatly appreciated.
I’ll always remember one of the times I laughed so much with Tim, almost the entire night. It was a Tripp reunion at Kettle Lakes, all the families and their kids were there. Me and Tim hung out most of the weekend, and when it came time to go to bed we decided we would sleep in one of the cars. We each took a seat, me in the front Tim in the back. We were probably about 12 or so…Tim and I made up jokes all night long and we laughed at each other all night, until the sun was coming up…I never forgot that time we shared it was a long time ago but we sure had a blast….I’ll always think of that when I remember Tim and keep that close to my heart…RIP Tim may you rest in Peace xox
