Lamoureux, Richard “Ricki”

So, friends and family the entertainer, comedian, piano man, little ski-doo man, brother, dad, and the best man I knew-my husband and best friend Ricki Lamoureux has passed on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Health Sciences North at the age of 89 years.  Born in Sudbury, ON to the late Adrian and Anna Lamoureux (née Charette). Beloved husband of Julie Lamoureux (née Collins). Father of Richard Jr.-predeceased (Leanne), Kathy (Don), Michael-predeceased (Darlene), Kim (Bill), Jason (Becca)and Aimée (Liz). Survived by his brothers Joe (Marie-Paul), Jacques (Joanne), Gaston (Cathy) and sister Pauline; predeceased by his remaining siblings Yolle (Maurice-predeceased), Dianne, Germaine (Marcel), Gus (Paula) and Suzy (Ron). In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly in Ricki’s memory to Pet Save Sudbury http://petsave.staging.haxxess.com/donate or Community Church of the Way 1325 Bellevue Avenue Sudbury, ON P3B 3G1.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

  1. I am saddened to hear this…Ricki was such a light to many. Always sharing his music, entertaining and even passed this beautiful gift down to his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by many and welcomed by the many angels awaiting. My heartfelt condolences to my niece and nephew (his grandchildren) and to his full family.
