Lalonde, Louis

May 31, 1935 to April 22, 2024

On the morning of April 22, 2024, passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North Sudbury, at the age of 88 years.

He will be sadly missed, and forever lovingly remembered by his loving and caring wife of 68 years, Joan (nee Fournier), his children Lou-Anne Conlon (Blain), Ken and Joey (Heidi), his grandsons Shayne, Kyle (Destiny) and Craig (Mel) as well as his great grandchildren Makayla, Hayleigh, Lucas and Lydia.

He will also be missed by his in laws, Margaret Hurme, Harold and Pauline Fournier, Lindsay and Sandra Fournier, Randy Fournier, Ellen Fournier, Ethel Fournier and Marlene Fournier and well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Ferdinand and Marie Jeanne (nee Richer) Lalonde and his 12 siblings.

He retired from INCO in 1991 with 35 years of service. He was a talented musician, enjoyed camping, gardening and relaxing in the beauty of the backyard and was always ready to lend a helping had to family and friends.

His mischievous demeanor and kind and gentle ways will always be fondly and lovingly remembered.
