It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Hélène Lalonde on September 1st, 2021 at the age of 57. Beloved mother of Jamie-Lynn (Robert), Joel (Kelly) and Stephanie (Rodney). Grandmother of Abella and Amélia. She was the loving daughter of Jean Paul and Harriet Lalonde. Sister of Michel and Lynn (Randy). She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family and friends. She will be remembered for her work in the legal community, her artistic abilities, her love of music and her joy for just sitting outdoors by the lake.
In keeping with Hélène’s wishes, a cremation has taken place. An interment will be scheduled at the Civic Cemetery and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to https://gofund.me/ffabe59c that was set up for her son Joel, who is currently waiting on the organ donor list for a kidney. Hélène had intentions of donating one of her kidneys to her son, however her unexpected passing has prevented this from coming to fruition.
I only knew Helene for a short time and during that time it was great getting to know her. Her sudden passing was a shock to me. My condolences to the family.

Dear Jamie-Lynn, Stephanie, and Joel. I was so saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. My heart goes out to you all. I was fortunate to work with your mom for quite a few years. One thing I remember the most about your mom was her laughter. She could be heard throughout the lunchroom or down the hall. Along with her laughter was her lovely smile. When new employees started at the firm, she had a real talent, and patience, for teaching them the ropes. Your mom loved her grandchildren and shared their pictures often. Her face beamed with joy. I know my words will not take away the sorrow you feel, but may they bring some comfort to you all.
