The family of Thor are deeply saddened to announce his passing in his hometown of Levack on September 26, 2019. Thor will be sadly missed by his precious daughters of whom he absolutely adored; Summer & Aspyn, ages 10 & 6, their devoted Mom Crystal Trottier, his loving Mother Cheryl Laidlaw , Dad & best friend JP Audette , Father Dan Cusson, beloved Sister Crystal Laidlaw (Vicky) of Cache Creek BC , Grandmother Eilene Laidlaw of Kamloops BC., as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Thor Daniel Laidlaw was born in Sudbury Ontario July 5, 1980; 1st and only son of Cheryl & little brother for Crystal. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing or crossing paths with Thor knew he lived up to his name. He was a fun loving and caring Dad, a thoughtful & supportive son, protective brother and an amazing friend. Thor was charming, brilliant & witty (and always a sharp dresser). He was a wild ride that brought us all so much joy, excitement (sometimes too much!) and loads of laughter. Godspeed Thor. The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the soon to be established Go Fund Me page will be greatly appreciated.
My fiance and myself and our two daughters would like to send our condolences to Thor’s family at this time. Our daughters are friends with Summer and Aspen and have been since we moved up here 4 years ago. From the time we have lived up here I saw that Thor would do anything for his girls and his family and he was good to his friends. We wish his family all the best.
