In loving memory of Suzanne Lafleur (nee Plouffe) who passed peacefully in the presence of her daughter and sisters on Monday, September 11, 2017. Beloved mother of Pamela Lafleur of White Rock, BC and Corey Lafleur (predeceased). Loving sister of Joan Bedard (Ed), Colette Vaillancourt (Marcel), Betty Ann Symonds (Verdon) and Rachelle Julien (Gilles). Cherished aunt of Paul, Jodie (Daniel),Tracy (Don), Roger (Deb), Kelly (Dan), Jason (Christina) Jennifer (Jason), Steven (Raissa), Stephanie (James) and Jeffrey (Michelle). Suzanne was born in Sudbury and was the daughter of the late Berchmans “Bert” and Cecile (Sauve) Plouffe. She worked as a nurse at Laurentian Hospital retiring with 25 years of service. Her favorite pastime was spent fishing and being a cheerleader for her daughter, nieces and nephews at their sporting events. Suzanne will be remembered as a very caring lady who loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing Suzanne’s time will now be spent with her son, Corey. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
