Lacko, George

In loving memory of George Lacko, 72 years, who passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2016 after a short battle with cancer at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.  George was born in Fort William (now Thunder Bay) on December 21st, 1943.  Beloved husband to Helen Lacko (nee Yawney) for 49 years. Loving father to Lisa (husband Farron Wallace) of Nanaimo, B.C. and George Jr. (wife Shelley) of Sudbury. George began teaching when he was 18 years old and retired after 36 years. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.  A Memorial Mass to celebrate George's life, will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury on Friday, October 21st, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Covenant House would be greatly appreciated.
