Passed away peacefully Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of Richard (predeceased). Loving mom of Inge (Normand predeceased), Raymond (Joanne), Gordon (Jennifer), John (Laila) and Mary (John). Cherished Oma of John, Nancy (Ricky), Kris, Kevin, Carolyn (Luis), Richard, Kenneth (Amanda), Kyle (Ashley), John (Donna), Ryan, Pamela, Stephen (Caitlynne) and Kayla. Special Oma to Kaylee, Tommy, Nicholas, Diego and Cecilia. Dear sister of Olga (Kasha) both predeceased, George (Lydia) both predeceased and Kurt (Eva). Magdalena will be deeply missed by her extended family in Germany, Switzerland, Israel and France. She will be fondly remembered by her knitting group. A special thank you to Dr. Gauthier and the staff at Finlandia for their compassion and care provided to her. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the McEwen School of Architecture (85 Elm Street, Sudbury) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. If desired donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
