It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Kisser on June 26, 2020 at the age of 71. Cherished partner to Johanne Duval, dear Dad and best friend to his son Keith. He was a very devoted son to his mother Isabel, who is still living at the age of 99. Older brother to Harley (Marilyn), predeceased by his father Alvin. He is dearly missed by Johanne’s daughter Vicki Ginson and her children, Cameron and Hannah-Lynn. His love for cars started at a young age. He took great pride and had a passion for restoring vehicles in his home away form home “the garage and the office”. His piano playing will be missed. A private, quiet, and gentle man who loved his pets. Thank you to all the Doctors and nurses of the 4th floor, south tower at Health Sciences North for their care, kindness and respect during his hospital stay. A special thank you to Dr. T. Mirka for her many years of dedicated care, especially during his recent cancer diagnosis and lung cancer in 2011. Deepest appreciation to nurse Jen Arseneault who held his hand during his last moments. He will be missed by many friends and family. Donations can be made directly to Pet Save Re “Tail” Thrift Store Sudbury. As per Gary’s wishes, he will be cremated and laid to rest at Civic Cemetery. No visitation or funeral service. “May he continue to shift gears and speed off into the forever”.
Isabel, I am so sad to hear of Gary’s passing. I knew Gary and his father Alvin since the 1970’s.
I knew Gary as a kind friendly man, I will remember you.
